YouTube and the NFL announced a partnership that will deliver content NFL fans around the world, combining the world's most popular sports league with the world's largest video platform.Through the newly established NFL official channel on YouTube and videos directly visible to the Google search users, this partnership will allow fans to interact with NFL video content on PCs, tablets and mobile phones.

Official NFL game highlights and the content will be accessible through search Google. A simple Google search will reveal the official NFL video together with relevant news and information, all delivered to the user in a separate box at the top of the search results. Kickoff time and broadcast information for each NFL games will also be prominently displayed in Google Search.

This is kind of cool, but what I’d really like is a deal to remove those annoying, auto-playing video ads from this site! I don’t object to unintrusive ads, but The Verge is the first site that’s really making me want to install an ad blocker.

Apparently this article was written by someone who doesn't understand PC and Mac aren't the same platform. Either that or the NFL isn't making this content available for Mac users which would be retarded. The editor should have caught that slip up.

This is great news. Sometimes it's tough finding highlights of games if you miss them in SportsCenter. I usually try to find them on youtube anyway; this should make it a lot easier.
