I have one of the older fobs. It does work at the vast majority of places, albeit sometimes the cashiers end up rather confused and you have to walk them through their own machine. ("Oh, there's a MasterCard on there? I need to select it on my screen." -- despite the fact that the card numbers themselves give away which bank it is, people design stupid software)
I'm not sure whether I should be happy or not. Sure, it'll get integrated into Samsung products, but I bet they'll stop selling the cases, cards and fobs like they used to for use with other devices.
