The update includes new features, and some needed to go back to the drawing board to be improved. To access the beta, you must have an account and test flight to be signed as a beta tester.
New features include the ability to use the messaging application in landscape, and to remove chats with a simple swipe. Update allows users to select and delete multiple chats simultaneously. BlackBerry messaging application open for IOS, Android and Windows, phone users, in addition to those sports device BlackBerry.

Hopefully there'll be a few more of these in the days to come. The app is about as stable as a patient in an insane asylum.

Great, the sooner that BlackBerry can bring BBM on the other platforms up to speed with BB10, as far as features, the more people will be likely to use it over the competition.

Nice to see BlackBerry constantly updating and improving their BBM app offering for other platforms. As always, it's great to see when OEM's do this.
