Currently VR mechanism works with Galaxy Note 4 only that packs a big 5.7-inch display. While rumors about the Galaxy S6 settled around the 5.2-in screen, making it too small to be implemented as it is.
Samsung has focused on promoting a mechanism VR headset, bringing it to the Sundance Film Festival and climb aboard commercial flights. Apart from a limited content, the widespread use of VR gear is complicated by the simple fact that it can operate only with the Galaxy Note 4 smartphone.

Anyone who is on the fence on buying one should! This is a must have if you own a Note 4. The Gear VR is unreal. Looking forward to new content for this!! Just get micro fiber cloth and canned air which will help keep the optics clear. Tiny dust and other lint will magnify if not cleaned.
