Why Chinese smartphone clones may not be a good deal after all

First there were the rash of house fires in the US and elsewhere from sub-standard wiring on Chinese extension cords labeled UL approved (of course), then perfect fit knock-off sheet metal auto parts that respond to crash-testing in a deadly way. Oh, and don't forget the rising number of Chinese citizens buying knock-off iPhone chargers that can, and regularly do, kill them. Knock-offs sound like a GREAT DEAL to me, especially the 'i5S Phone' iPhone look-alike above that runs Android 4.2. A saying to go with that is, "If it sounds too weird to be true, it probably is." (True, but too weird, that is.)
